I am Dr. Parveen Kaur, from Klinik Bangsar South with a special interest in Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) / Sexually Transmitted before infections (STIs) and Genitourinary Medicine (GUM). At my clinic, I provide comprehensive screening and treatment for patients in this field. However, my passion extends beyond just treating patients. I am deeply committed to creating awareness about Sexual Health, promoting safe sexual practices and emphasizing the importance of vaccinations.
During consultations at my clinic, I take the time to counsel all my patients on these important topics. I believe in the power of education and aim to reach out and help as many people as possible. That is why I am inviting you to join me as a Safe Sex Ambassador. Together, we can teach others about safe sex practices, the significance of regular STI/STD and HIV screenings, the importance of couple screenings, premarital screenings and the value of taking PREP (Pre-Exposure Prophylactics), the Gardasil 9 HPV Vaccine and Hepatitis B vaccines. It is also crucial to educate individuals on what to do in case of an emergency, such as unprotected exposure, where they must seek immediate medical attention, such as PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylactics) within 72 hours to prevent HIV infection.
I am actively working towards reaching out to as many people as possible, especially younger individuals. With the rise of digital dating, we are witnessing an increase in STDs, STIs, and HIV infections. By joining forces, we can bring down the prevalence of these infections and protect ourselves and others. Please help me in spreading this message and educating others—it can truly save lives.
